Through culturally responsive programs like our EQuiMama doula initiative, bilingual prenatal classes, and family-centered workshops, we help individuals and families thrive, especially those facing language barriers, poverty, and systemic inequities. Our mission is to uplift and empower people by creating access to care, resources, and opportunity, so they can lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

If you or someone you know has immigrated to the United States (undocumented or documented) or has refugee status and you are in need of access to care, there are organizations that can assist you with resources:

Haitian Immigrant Resource Packet

In 2023 during a case review team meeting, it was noted that the Fetal Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) team in Marion County, Indiana was seeing an increase in cases involving Haitian immigrant families. A work group was formed to respond to the needs we were seeing for these families and to collaborate across the community. This packet of resources was created to help families from the Haitian community as well as providers working with these families. While this packet focuses specifically on Haitian immigrants, the programs and resources included are available to anyone living in Marion County.
